Store Stock Redistribution supports different strategies to calculate the trips between the stores and/or warehouse locations to redistribute items. The Redist. Matrix is used to define possible store and warehouse location combinations to calculate Transfer Orders in Store Stock Redistribution (Trips). It is possible to define multiple matrices.
To define which Redist. Matrix applies to which item a link must be created in the Item Redistribution Matrix page. This link can be done on item level or item groups level such as Division, Item Category, and Product Group. This link is crucial when it comes to a scenario that requires more than one Redist. Matrix to be considered for a trip calculation at a time.
To assign a Redist. Matrix to items
- Go to LS Retail - Replenishment - Automatic - Redistribution - Item Redistribution Matrix. The Item Redistribution Matrix page opens.
- If you wish to assign a Redist. Matrix on item level, enter a value in the Item No. field and assign the Redistribution Matrix Code field.
- If you wish to assign a Redist. Matrix on Product Group (item group) level, enter a value in the Product Group Code field and assign the Redistribution Matrix Code field.
- If you wish to assign a Redist. Matrix on Item Category (item group) level, enter a value in the Item Category Code field and assign the Redistribution Matrix Code field.
- If you wish to assign a Redist. Matrix on Division (item group) level, enter a value in the Division Code field and assign the Redistribution Matrix Code field.
